Tuesday, Feb. 28

The Boyne Area Senior Center will host a Veteran’s Social on the fourth Tuesday of every month serving free coffee and doughnuts from 9-11 a.m. There will also be a luncheon served at noon. This event is for all veterans.

Charlevoix Area Hospital is hosting free chair yoga classes from 11-11:30 a.m. every Tuesday at the Charlevoix Wellness Workshop on Bridge Street.

Alanson Nazarene Church is located on the corner of M-68 and Mission Roads. Each Wednesday they offer a food pantry/clothes closet ministry that takes place from 4-5:30 p.m. A hot meal is served and participants may take home a box of food and clothing. (231) 548-5462

Every Wednesday from 8-11a.m., Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital will be hosting all future Charlevoix Wellness Wednesday Health Screenings in the hospital’s new Wellness Workshop at 411 Bridge S., Charlevoix. 

The quilting group at VitalCare Hospice of Little Traverse Bay, of McLaren Northern Michigan, meets every Wednesday from 9 a.m. - noon from October until May at Hiland Cottage. Both expert and novice quilters wanted.
